Keep on training and become a better diver
You already finished your Open Water Course, but you still want to improve your diving abilities? The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course and the SSI Advanced Adventurer are designed to offer you some additional training and introduce you to an exciting variety of under water activities.
Firstly to enable you to realise where you are and find your way, you will complete a navigation dive. You will start to understand the landscape and to use your compass.
Secondly because the ocean is slightly deeper than 18m, you will learn how to dive deeper and explore it up to a depth of 30m - and find out how you react to the so-called "nitrogen narcosis".
If you are still struggling with your buoyancy and want to reduce the weight you carry, "Peak Performance Buoyancy" is a great idea.
If you love the fish you see, but want to know at least some of their names, "Naturalist" or "Fish-ID" can be a smart choice.
If you dive with a computer, but still do not really understand it, the "Computer"-dive shows you how to use it in the best and safest way.
If you want to take pictures under water, a photography dive would be perfect for you.
And if the day is not long enough and you still want to go diving after sunset, a "Night dive" can show you how much you see in the dark.
In this course, there is no exam - but you find a lot of information in your book, and your instructor will add some more before you go diving.
If you just want to do one or two of these dives, you can always take any training dive you wish and complete one small step towards your certification - it will be recognized when continuing in another PADI or SSI Dive Center.
And if one dive per theme is just not enough, you can always take the full specialty course.
